Neutral Bay Project

EDM transformed a ground floor Neutral Bay apartment with a full interior and exterior refurbishment, including open-plan living, new kitchen, landscaping, and carpark - all delivered within a live, heritage-listed building.

This ground floor apartment in Neutral Bay was transformed through a comprehensive design and construction process managed by EDM Construction. The project involved both interior and exterior works, carried out in a live apartment building with strict strata and body corporate requirements. As a Class 2 development under the new DBP Act, every stage was executed in exact accordance with the approved design, ensuring full compliance with the latest standards for safety, quality, and accountability. The site’s heritage status added further complexity, requiring careful remediation to preserve and enhance the existing building.

EDM completely stripped and refurbished the three-bedroom, three-bathroom apartment, removing interior walls and installing structural steel beams to create a spacious open-plan layout and a larger, modern kitchen. The works also included the addition of a new external carpark and landscaping, further elevating the property’s appeal. This project exemplifies EDM’s ability to deliver high-quality results in challenging, regulated environments, balancing technical excellence with respect for heritage and community standards.
